Date: 07/08/2014
Location: Zone 3+5 (River Avon + Newbridge)
Observation: Walked up to Seven Acre wood watched around 50+ Crows & Wood Pigeon picking at farmer fields, at the bottom just before dual carriageway a singing Yellowhammer battling against the traffic noise. Headed on along River Avon where Barn Swallows were drinking and resting in surrounding trees around 20+. The Buzzard always shows up here with another joining him. Circling above me. Just before cycletrack there were a few Dragonflies about seem to be landing on some stunning perches! A flash past Kingfisher and the headed home.
Weather: Hot, Blue Skies
Other Species: Yellowhammer, Buzzard, Long-Tailed Tits, Kingfisher, Barn Swallows of note.
