Date spotted: 25th April - All Day
Location: WWT - Slimbridge
Observation: Visited Slimbridge to try and photograph the Kingfishers. That was a success, bit cloudy so hard to get a sharp shot, we only seen one but the 2 were back and forth al day according to other birders! On the Knott Pool feeders there were lots of Goldfinch, Greenfinch, Blue Tits and a Lesser Redpoll feeding. A sedge warbler was also spotted in the hedges to the right.
Oppisite in the Robbie Garnet hide, there was a Little Egret showing EXTEREMELY WELL feeding right in front the hide it then flew around 30 feet into the middle of the pool but still showing well. There was also 1 Black-Tailed Godwit feeding in front the hide in front the egret. Great day which was successful!
